History:
Amagami Plot
Before the beginning of the Amagami SS anime, Sae had been studying in an all-girls school though it is never explained why she exchanged schools at all. Due to this, she is completely shy towards guys and has trouble speaking up to them (or anyone else for that matter).
From the start of her arc, this becomes completely noticeable as she struggles to try and talk to Junichi Tachibana about the fact that he had lost his wallet during an accident that had happened between himself and Morishima-senpai. Eventually, Sae returns the wallet and Junichi is introduced to her for the first time in this arc by his sister, Miya who is Sae's best friend.
A few days later, Junichi finds Sae hiding from a puppy who had given the small girl a bit of a fright. Because of this, he offers to take her to a restaurant to try and calm her nerves. While at the restaurant, Sae falls in love with the uniforms that the maids wear and she mentions this to Junichi who suggests that she should try and get a part-time job there. However, Sae is afraid that she would never be able to do a job like that due to how shy she is.
This starts the training sessions between Junichi and Sae to try and make sure that she can be less shy around others and a lot more confident.
This spans over the next two episodes with Junichi training Sae ways to be more confident (like imagining the dinner ladies as vending machines) as well as timing how fast she can change out of her school uniform into her work uniform or from her gym uniform into her work uniform. The latter ends up a disaster as Sae accidentally falls onto Junichi and Miya accidentally assumes that her brother is a pervert due to the position that Sae had landed in.
After this incident was cleared up, they all headed to the hot springs and tried out the new foot bath. Sae has never tried the footbath before, so it was a first time for her, however, she finds the sensation really strange and tingly. The sensation feels so good that she moans while it happens!
That night, Sae stays over with Junichi and his sister. This is where we first see a glimmer that Sae wants to be more than good friends, as she tells Junichi that 'she doesn't want to be his sister' when he commented that he would like a sister like her.
With fall approaching, Sae is being trained still up until her interview day. She manages to retain all the information that Junichi has given her over the past few months (or less) and gets the job. Junichi congratulates her and takes her out to the amusement park where Sae enjoys going on the park rides and meeting with her favourite tv superheroes, who mistake her for a junior high student due to her height and ask her up onto the stage.
After an embarassing performance, she finally asks Junichi if he would be her partner for the Best Couple contest for the Christmas' founder's festival. Junichi agrees and accompanies her to the bus stop, where Sae tries to ask him to hold her hand, but is too shy to say it. Luckily, he figures it out and holds her hand.
Christmas time is now here, and Sae goes on a date with Junichi to an ice cream parlour where they share a huge ice cream parfait. This ice cream parfait is rumoured to bind couples together forever when they eat it, which is why Sae wanted to do it. They both try their best at finishing it off together, though Junichi ats the most.
During the Best Couple contest, Sae and Junichi were voted second place dressed as a bride and groom, this entitles them to a private showing of a movie in a special booth that only they would get to use. At the cinema, Sae is finally confessed to by Junichi after the movie and they share their first kiss together before watching the christmas lights.
Sometime after it, in the epilogue, Sae dressed up with Miya as animals while Junichi films them.
Personality:
Sae is a fairly happy girl who seems to easily make friends in her school despite her shyness. Her friends often are with Sae during lunchtime and sometimes Sae spends time with them outside of school, however, she never really speaks up around people unless she is spoken to until she gains the confidence to do so.
She also seems to have a fondness of cute things including Junichi's wallet (as seen in the first episode of her arc) and kaoru's maid uniform (the thing that makes her want to try on the uniform and decide to become a maid to do so.). There is other instances of her fondness of cute things, but some of these are outside of her arc and because I am specifically taking her from her arc, I am leaving those out.
Her training to become a maid motivates her to change her personality a little as well as admit that she has feelings for Junichi to the point that she doesn't want him to stop training her and eventually she realises that she has fallen in love with him. She becomes a lot more confident and begins to talk louder in front of people, though her voice is still soft and quiet compared to the other girls.
Abilities:
Sae has no real magical abilities as such, unless you count the fact that she has a rather powerful imagination when it comes to her seeing the dinnerladies at school as vending machines.

Y-you see, I previously worked as a maid at a cafe a-and I don't know h-how to do any other job.
