Even though she's back at school now and not on the TARDIS, he still considers her to be like his own daughter, or as good as. He still thinks she's brilliant, at any rate, God or not! They've gone through a lot together, but he cares for her a lot, and she was the first one to really become like family to him, so that'll probably last for a long, long time.
Feldt Grace: ★
Since Christmas, with Feldt living on the TARDIS, Ten's come to see Feldt as another adopted daughter, almost, or as good as. He doesn't mind her quiet nature and he's impressed with just how smart she is and how much she cares for the people around her. He kind of misses her now she's gone back. >:

They've come a long way since she was born, and he now sees her as a part of his family and an indispensable part of the TARDIS team. He's still pretty darn protective over her. |D

Weirdly, and he'd never tell Lockon himself this, but as Haruhi sees him as her brother, Ten has come to see him as a sort-of son. He's still secretly overwhelmingly relieved that he survived last year, and also glad that he's got to know him better. He likes that he's so easy to get on with, that he's a good person and that he's such a good older brother figure to Haruhi.
Tieria Erde: ★
Oddly, somehow, somewhere along the line, Tieria's almost become like a sort of younger brother to the Doctor. A little bit of a cranky one, but still a brilliant one. He feels very close to Tieria and enjoys talking to him, even if the chances to have diminished somewhat in the months since the rescue. Even though he's still curious as to what exactly Tieria is, it doesn't really matter to him if he finds out or not; Tieria'd still be his friend. He'd still quite like to give Tieria a small trip in the TARDIS, one day.
{Jordan C. Wilde}: ★
Jordan is one of the people Ten's known longest, and they've been through so much together that they're really really close, even if Jordan hasn't accessed the community in a long while. It's quite refreshing talking to someone else who's long-lived.

Jordan's wife and kind of like Ten's sister-in-law by extension. She's one of the community people he's know longest and first put the idea of a family that isn't blood!family in his head. She still means a great deal to him.
Wang Yao [China]: ★
OKAY LET ME EXPLAIN THIS ONE. Box and I basically agreed with each other that Ten and China have totally been meeting up with each other since forever, drinking tea and sharing stories with each other, which is why Ten reacted the way he did on China's intro. ^^; Shush it makes perfect sense. >_>
Setsuna F. Seiei: ★
Although originally Ten only knew him as a friend of Tieria's who didn't speak much, and tried therefore to get him to by using the colon trick, he now finds himself liking Setsuna as a close friend, especially after the talk they had during the inner thoughts virus. He feels like Setsuna understands things that other friends, no matter how much he loves them, couldn't.

Held him at swordpoint for trespassing on her ship! Quickly became firm friends with her, through ups and downs, and finds her to be very likeable. :D

Originally knew him through Jacky, and found him to be very difficult to talk to at first. But gradually, they got to know each other better, and the Doctor eventually considered him a close friend, with the two of them sharing what was quite a lot for them. Gave Kratos the idea of coloning at Jacky when she stole his dot key, which s what started the whole sorry business. Again, feels like Kratos can understand things about him that other people can't, which is why they got so close in the end.
Mikaela Banes: ★
She's good fun, and she hangs out with aliens on a regular basis! On another note, he admires her bravery and her care for her friends, and he's told her quite a bit about himself that he wouldn't tell other people.

Maya was a close friend of Ten's while she was here - they met through the Portal event, which probably had something to do with it! He liked her cheerful and upbeat attitude and hey, it's not every day you meet a proper spirit medium.
Phoenix Wright: ★
Phoenix is honest and fair, which the Doctor sees as a very good thing. On top of that, he seems like a loyal friend, and despite the fact that they met during the Alignment virus, the fact that Phoenix was so sorry for what he did during it only cemented Ten's opinion of him. He enjoys talking to him - and he'll admit that it's fun to make him boggle occasionally~
Motoko Kusanagi: ★
A very close friend; Ten enjoys her conversation and thinks she's an intelligent and capable woman, especially considering her cybernetic body. He wouldn't mind talking with her more than he does, but he realises that her work probably leaves her with very few opportunities for socialising.

Despite everything that's gone on between them, Ten still considers Jack a close friend. There's not many people who truly understand what living forever means, and Jack is one of them. Besides, the banter between them is fun and a reminder of the good old days.

Laid back and slightly odd, but Ten got on well enough with him and he was sympathetic enough after the events on Midnight.

Ten and Death are fairly well-acquainted. :'D Other than that, he likes her on a personal level, thinking that she's fun to be around. Which really, when she's the one coming for you in the end, is what you want, isn't it?

Ten is really very fond of Shia. He likes her sweet nature and the way she cares for the people around her, and after getting involved in her rescue last year, he's been keeping an eye on her, and thinks she's a good influence on Mewtwo.
Allelujah Haptism: ★
Ten doesn't know Alle that well, only really by association/meeting him a few times, but he likes him so far based on that, and besides, any friend of Tieria's is a friend of his.

Originally knew him through Jordan and Eva, but became quite close to him afterwards anyway. Finds him to be polite and kind, and a great ruler. And it's nice to meet another non-earthling as well.

Itsuki has somehow become a good friend. The Doctor originally knew him through Haruhi, and he's still unsure about Itsuki sometimes because he's so difficult to figure out, but on the whole, he likes him on his own merits now, and is willing to let Itsuki hide what he wants. Mostly.
Naoto Shinogane: ★
They've only recently met, but the Doctor finds him polite, easy to talk to, and really quite brilliant, even if he does seem to have moments of self-doubt. He'd rather like to get to know him more in the future!
Ivan Braginski [Russia]: ★
On the whole, Ten likes Ivan and considers him a friend. That's not to say that he doesn't get the sensation that there's something off about him, because he does, but he doesn't let that get in the way, much. He enjoys talking to him, and likes the fact that he can geek out about history with him. He's worried about him due to his timeline, but... well, he knows how it ends.
He's about 90% sure that Ivan is actually Russia, but he's content to just say nothing and see if he's proved right first before he says anything.
Ianto Jones: ★
Met him through Jack/Torchwood, but has only recently got to know him. Finds him very polite (almost overly so!) and quite pleasant to talk to, and it's nice that he already knows about the whole alien thing so he's not so surprised by it. Also, he really does make brilliant coffee.
Togusa: ★
A co-worker/friend of Motoko's and therefore a friend of Ten's! Even if he does seem to be a little cynical, but that can be cured. :>
Mewtwo: ★
Ten considers him a friend, even if Mewtwo doesn't see it that way. Mewtwo fascinates him, and even if he seems a bit unscrupulous, the Doctor is confident that he'll learn, sooner or later.
Ban Midou: ★
While not a close friend, the Doctor still considers Ban to be a friend, if only for the times that they've chatted due to both knowing Tieria, and finds him to be a source of good conversation at least.
