[is curled up asleep on her bed with the blankets up to her neck, totally worn out after having a fight with Lockon and so Ten's motions don't even make her stir]

[He's used to Haruhi being a heavy sleeper, but sleeping at this time of day? or for this long? He frowns and shakes her shoulder gently]

Haruhi? Wake up, sleepy-head.

[cringes and shifts away]

Don't shake like that, you should know-

[sits up to give him a glare, revealing that she's not wearing a shirt but that's okay because she has bandages over...important areas. Only then she realizes that he's NOT Lockon and moves to cover her chest with the blankets.

[timey_wimey]

[He's taken aback for a moment, surprised by that reaction... then his eyes travel to the bandages, then to Haruhi's face, and then back to the blankets, and back to her face. It's obvious what happened. And suddenly it all clicks into place. How could he be so thick --]

Why didn't you tell me?

[Runs a hand through his hair distractedly, clearly beginning to get agitated]

Haruhi, you're injured! Of course it's a big deal!

It's nothing life threatning! I'm not gonna die, so it's fine!

So you could just yell at me like you're doing?

[lying back down to sulk]

[He's up and pacing around the room now :x]

I'm not yelling at you! [No, wait, that's wrong. He quickly backtracks:] Well, maybe I am, but I'm not yelling at you for getting injured! I can just about deal with you getting injured, it's the fact that you didn't tell anyone that I'm yelling at you for!

[He turns around to face her, and runs a hand through his hair again, wide-eyed.] What if you'd got really badly hurt? What then?

I don't have to tell you everything! I know how you react!

[huffs]

You'd probably now and I wouldn't have a choice.

[Sighs in frustration]
