Hello lovelies, I hope you're all having an awesome Christmas so far! Now, the following gifts would have been delivered by TARDIS during the night because Ten fancies himself as a bit of a Santa sometimes - I wouldn't be surprised if he wore the full get-up and was a... very skinny Santa. :Db. They all have a note from Ten attached to them with a little message cause he's a sap like that. If I've missed anyone, don't hesitate to tell me! And... some people I may not have thought of anything yet orz >.> I swear I'll think of something soon.
SO, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO:
Donna: A set of ear-rings with little green stones in them and a necklace that matches (he picked it up from a planet they've visited), and a framed photo of the TARDIS family grinning at the camera. The note reads "To Donna - thank you for everything. Merry Christmas - The Doctor."
Haruhi: Her very own sonic screwdriver and a Haruhi-sized version of his coat. The note reads: "To Haruhi - Merry Christmas! Now you don't have to borrow mine! :D Lots of love, Dad."
Jenny: A book on history's most iconic women (read: girls who kicked arse) and a new set of combats with a stealth function built into them. The note reads: "Jenny - Merry Christmas! The book's not as boring as it looks, I promise. And don't you dare use that stealth function on me. Love from Dad."
Jordan: Some baked goods and tea from another world, and a pendant with a strange green stone that glows depending on how much light's in the area. Note reads: "Jordan - thought you'd enjoy these. Watch out for the yellow ones, they've got a bit of a kick. Have a very Merry Christmas - The Doctor."
Eva: An upgrade to use on a star racer, a first edition-copy of Sabriel, and a pendant like Jordan's only the stone is red. Note reads: "To Eva. Merry Christmas! From the Doctor (the "brother in law" - oo. That sounds domestic, doesn't it?) PS: If you sell that book, I will know. ;)"
Aikka: A bow and a set of arrows in the style used by the Pullucci of the Scarlet System, custom-made to fit. Note reads: "Thought these might come in handy, though I hope they don't have to. They're not guaranteed 100% hit, but there's something special about them, if you believe the folklore. Merry Christmas, from the Doctor."
Phoenix: A complete set of Agatha Christie's works, with her signature on a bit of scrap paper. Note reads: "I was going to let you borrow mine, but it's Christmas, you might as well have your own. The signature's real - I managed to swipe it off her when I met her back in October - long story, I might tell you sometime. Have a Merry Christmas! - The Doctor."
Edgeworth: A selection of small bottles of various fine wines, from all through space and time. All of them have handy notes on them such as "this one goes well with fish" or "watch out for this one, it's got a bit of an acquired aftertaste", but the main note reads: "Edgeworth - thought this might be handy to help stock up what you lost in July. Variety is the spice of life, after all! Best wishes, the Doctor."
Maya: A life-size model of the Steel Samurai. 8D Note reads: "Don't even ask where I got ahold of this. Merry Christmas, Maya! - The Doctor."
Itsuki: Some books on the theories and musings of various philosophers throughout all of time, and a board game of some sort - New New Earth Monopoly? |D Note reads: "Itsuki - Merry Christmas. Thanks for all your help. The Doctor."
Kyon: Not that he KNOWS anything about Kyon but he thought that since he's Haruhi's sort-of-boifriendo he should get him something. So Kyon has a bazoolium ornament. (Bazoolium is this substance that can predict the weather.) Note reads: "Merry Christmas, Kyon. From the Doctor."
Kratos: A translation of Les Miserables. Note reads: "Kratos - I know the book looks like a bit of heavy going, but I think you might like it. Let me know what you think. Have a very Merry Christmas - the Doctor."
Jacky: Some sheet music for her violin - ranging from classical to 1000th century. Note reads: "These might give you a bit of a challenge! Have a very Merry Christmas, and best wishes for the new year. The Doctor."
Kaworu: A home-burned CD recording of some of the best orchestral compositions throughout all time - although Beethoven and the like feature heavily. Note reads: "I know how much you like classical music so here's something I made up for you. I threw in a few surprises from the future as well just to mix things up. Have a Merry Christmas. The Doctor."
Hermione: A set of books about the history of the universes' greatest civilisations. Note reads: "Hermione - here's a bit of light reading for you! Merry Christmas - hope it's a good one. The Doctor."
Sam: The scarf that Ten wore when he was Four. Note reads: "Sam - thought you might appreciate this. It's not too narcissistic, is it? Merry Christmas and best wishes, the Doctor."
Collins: A bottle of the finest Stoli money can buy (and a new hat.) Note reads: "Hi Collins. Merry Christmas - here's a little something to make it that bit merrier (!) - The Doctor."
Chloe: A DVD of her favourite bands' last live performance, along with all the band-related merc that was being sold at the show. Note reads: "Chloe - have a very Merry Christmas! Thanks for everything. Rock out - is that right, that's what they say... isn't it? From the Doctor."
Shia: A little matching silver necklace and bracelet set. Note reads: "To Shia - These seemed like they'd suit you. As Haruhi says I'm not much of a fashion-conscious bloke, though, so sorry in advance if they disappoint. Have a good Christmas. The Doctor."
Mikaela: A silver necklace with a little silver tyre charm on it, and a book on futuristic mechanics. Note reads: "To Mikaela - hope your Christmas is a good one. The book might be a good read. Thanks for everything. The Doctor."
Tieria: GDI you are difficult to buy for you daft trap. Ten got him a book - I uh, don't actually know what yet because I am a failpie - and a parasol to replace his old one. Note reads: "I'm never usually one to repeat a gift idea but seeing as how you liked the old one so much, I thought you might appreciate this. Merry Christmas, Tieria. Keep your chin up. The Doctor."
(Oh, and for anyone interested, the note attached to the TARDIS key that he left Tieria when he dropped him off at Mikaela's read: "Was going to give you this on your birthday but... well, things came up. Thought you might like it. Take care of yourself - the Doctor (and the TARDIS, of course.)"
Setsuna: A book - Beginner's Guide to Mechanical Maintenance - some duct tape (Ten's little joke!), and a little Haro keychain (again, Ten's idea of a joke. >.>). Note reads: "I left this with Tamaki - hope it reaches you okay when you wake up. Have a very Merry... well, belated Christmas, I suppose. And remember: there is nothing that cannot be fixed with duct tape. Take care of yourself - from the Doctor."
Feldt: A little pink stone on a silver chain. Note reads: "I wasn't really sure what to get you but Haruhi told me this might suit you. Have a very Merry Christmas, Feldt. The Doctor."
Allelujah: ... I do not actually know yet, and since I mun the guy I am allowed to remain undecisive on that front :| (... XD yes I suck I know.)
TARDIS: He built her in a hologram function so that she could talk to people more easily (without having to resort to binary. 8D)
People who he doesn't know that well but still wanted to get something for got cards - so Ban, Lucy, etc. Tamaki and Nill both got cards that said "thank you for all your help" along with the Christmas message. Lockon will get his very belated Christmas present when Ten's done the whole being brilliant and saving the idiot's sorry arse sometime in the next week or so. ♥
