This is something I feel that I need to do. I cannot simply walk away now.

Alright then. Just so we're clear.
[With that, he seemed to suddenly jump into action, disappearing into the TARDIS and beckoning Kratos to follow, slinging his long coat over a nearby rail as he did so.]

Come on, I can't leave the door open when we're travel -
[He looked up and saw his expression and stance and his mouth made a little "o" shape before he straightened up.]
Oh yeah, I forgot you haven't been in here before. Welcome to the TARDIS. Yes, it's bigger on the inside, everyone always says that the first time round.

I'm sorry. I... did wonder how you intended to travel in such a small box.

[He lets the grin fall as he goes back to examining the console] I'm not sure about the way the years are numbered in this universe, so you'll have to guide me here so I can set the coordinates.

Very well... [The last thing he wanted was to end up in some foreign time and place after all.]

Fourteen years ago. There is a cliff that runs alongside the Desian Human Ranch near Iselia.

Of course he was trusting him to know himself, and after all it was his time machine, why shouldn't he? But the absurdity of it all was making him begin to wonder... was this really such a good idea?
Too late now.]

Whoops. Sorry about that.
[He reached for the monitor and turned it to face him, his eyes studying the Gallifreyan text on the screen.] We made it, though. Fourteen years ago, in the right place...
[He sighed. He hated trips like this, he truly did. The worst events always seemed to be fixed. Always. There were almost never any exceptions. But they were here, it was time, and as cliched and awful as the phrase was, there was now no turning back. So really, there was only one word to say.]
Ready?

They were here. It took Kratos a moment to get his head around that. It was the one memory that had haunted him non-stop ever since it had happened. Could he really accomplish anything by revisiting it? Perhaps it was just the idea of viewing it with company this time. A fresh perspective. Someone who might be able to understand even if he couldn't. Since they had already made the journey, he had to be ready. He couldn't run away this time.
Approaching the door, stopping just short of it, he gave a heavy sigh.
Did he even have the strength to go through that door?]
...I'm ready.
