Blimey, it’s been a while since I posted on here, hasn’t it? Having a full-time companion - make that two full time companions - again hasn’t really been all that conducive to spending time on here. Surprised I’ve been around as often as I have, really ( Read more... )

You hacked that private part then. Well, I guess I should have expected that.

You said you did not wish to go into details. There is little point in asking for more details when the answer is already no.

Smart man.

Suffice it to say, Tieria, that if I see another gun right now, I can't be held responsible for my own actions.

...one should always be held responsible for their actions, Doctor. If it is not something you would be proud of doing, you should not do it.

I know that. But even I'm subject to my own emotions, Tieria.

D'you have a problem with that?

Yes, I do. I have a very large problem with emotions in general, I think they are incredibly inconvenient, and cause more harm than good. But I also know that there is little I can do about them, and as such, I must persevere despite them.

I'd have to disagree with you there. Cause I've seen what happens to people when they've had their emotions taken from them, and it's never good.

If you took them from me, even the bad ones, you might as well kill me.

Then we shall simply have to disagree, Doctor. Because I know that I do not appreciate the way that tears blur my vision, and that it's rather hard to report when your voice is cracking.

... Leaving that report comment aside for now... I suppose you're right.

I dunno, though. You might surprise yourself one day.

...a school report. When you have to get up in front of the class and do a presentation. That sort of thing.

And what is that supposed to mean?

Hm. I guess can see where you're coming from, yeah...

Oh, I'll let you take that how you will.

So! I seem to remember this conversation starting with you wanting to know about the Ood and the Sontarans. Still interested?

Yes, I am.

Alright then. The Ood are a sort of mildly telepathic race, very peaceful, beautiful singing voices. Erm, telepathic singing, that is. They're born with a front and hind brain, which is connected in the hivemind by a hive brain. Bit of a peculiar-looking lot, really, but I like them.

As for the Sontarans, they're a completely different kettle of fish. They're a clone race - a short clone race, at that. Completely dedicated to war, their entire lifestyle is about warfare and bloodshed. Finding a "glorious war." That Celestial Being lot that you mentioned would have a field day with them, I'm telling you.
