note to self
bring sunscreen if you think you might find yourself stranded in the middle of a river with a stalled out motor/boat/engine and an intertube and a best friend for 5 hours. This prevents much discomfort and also prevent any chance your best friend might just start slapping you silly in named burnt regions.
