ControlI can feel his breath, the quiet shift as his lungs demand a rapid exchange of oxygen, the fear burgeoning in his eyes now disseminating through his stiffening body. He is a warrior, capable of presenting a veneer of complacency, indifference, arrogance ( Read more... )

I think you pulled it off marvellously. Wow. Beautiful, and compelling, and chilling, and I want to hug him.

Many, many thanks!

I want to hug him, too. Only...after he's calmed down a bit. ;)

I do my utmost to keep my emotions under control. A loss of it reduces me to a level of barbarism I abhor in other creatures. And yet...no, best not to speculate.

This was my favorite episode of the seventh Doctor's reign, and the way you've captured his thoughts during this scene are wonderful.

It is a brilliant episode, and the first time I watched it, I was shocked (and rather scared) by Seven at times. And thanks, I'm glad his thoughts came across sincerely.

Oh my! Oh, you captured this moment perfectly. My eyes grew wide reading it and chills went down my spine.

Seven, in that moment, is someone to be scared of. He could have killed Mordred. I wonder if he would have, if it had been Mordred and not Morgaine that threatened Ace. (OMG, that scene is amazing in how it proves what he feels for her!)

This is perfect dark jacket wearing Seven.

I get a thrill from the line "Yes, the Professor. For her."

Thank you so much!

I honestly think the only thing really holding him back from doing anything to Mordred was knowing that it wasn't really Mordred who was threatening Ace; Mordred was simply the one in front of him at the time.

When he gets back to the Inn and it blows up and he hisses that threat to Morgaine...I think if anything had happened to Ace...well, there's a reason they call him the Oncoming Storm. And I love exploring that.

It's funny how he tries to stop her calling him that, every once in a while, and then just gives up. Because of course he loves it. :)
