Axl's weapon: a brief overview
I realize that Axl's fighting icons can be confusing, so here's a brief view on Axl's weapon, just for reference.
This is Axl's weapon of choice. It's a modified kusarigama (kusari-gama, kasurigama, take your pick.) The weapon traditionally has a blade at one end, and a weight at the other. As you can see, Axl like to live on the edge and his does not. Despite how really difficult it must be to toss that thing around and not slice yourself up, Axl does it expertly.
The chain goes on for-fucking-EVER. Axl's got one of the most insane ranges in the game. If you wanna avoid getting pegged, good luck.
APPARENTLY, the blades retract. This has got to come in handy, because toting that thing around as is would be a little cumbersome.
As such, it can also be used as a kind of numchuk? Good for bopping people in the head with, I suppose.
OR it snaps together and can be used as a staff. This thing has more uses than a Swiss Army Knife, I swear.
So there you have it. Just some general things to keep in mind when/if you ever get in a fight with him. :D
