Happy Independence Day!
Today wasn't quite as boring as I thought it would be, which is good.  My parents took Amy and I out on the boat.  Amy and I got to try out our new tube, which was a lot of fun, but we got totally beat up.  Our knees and elbows are rubbed raw from the stitching on the tube, and it was so choppy out that we were tossed around a lot.  We kept falling off (although that was also partly because we were laughing so hard that we couldn't stay on.)  Unfortunately, we're not doing anything this evening, and since the fireworks were last week, I don't think that there will be anything to do.  Oh, and we're having hot dogs for dinner- ewwww.
Tomorrow I'm going to visit MSU.  I don't even think that I really want to go anymore.  I will go and visit, but I think that I'm pretty set on Albion at this point.  I know that Michigan State has a good teaching program, but the whole campus seems too big in my mind.  I don't know that I would do very well on such a large campus.  Oh, and a week from tomorrow, my parents set up a campus tour of Central, which really annoys me.  I am sure that Central is a nice school, but I really don't want to go.  Besides, the only reason my dad really wants me to go there is because he went there, which is stupid.  It makes me so mad- he didn't even tell me that he was setting up the tour.  This is my education- not his.  I think that it's nice that my parents care enough to be involved, but I know where I'm interested in.  Sorry, I'm done complaining.
We might go to Cincinnati in a few weeks, which I think would be really fun.  My uncle would fly us over in his corporate jet, which I think would be so cool!  Nothing is certain yet, but I hope that we get to go because I would really like to be able to visit their new gigantic house.  However, I kind of hope that we don't stay at their home because my little cousins can be really bratty.  They're nine and seven and completely spoiled.  Still, it would be nice to visit, I think.
