i have a new baby cousin!
my cousin Nate and his wife Kelly (well, mostly the wife) gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl, Claire Ruth Hickey, today, in Coronado, California.
(Ruth was my grandmother's name, Claire's Great-Grandmother, and I believe Claire was also her Great-Grandmother's name on her mother's side).
now i want my friends Nick and Tammy to have their baby today too, so i can remember just one birthday for both babies! (also, tammy is 6 days overdue, and therefore, ready to have baby any second... so it's not improbable.)
