sunday afternoon ramblings.
i started my christmas shopping thursday afternoon.
by friday night, i'd nearly completed all of it.
i'm not usually this go-getter-ish, but for some reason i've jumped into this one head first. i think part of it is sothat when the holiday does roll around, i'm almost as surprised as those i'm giving too.
im getting excited for thanksgiving too... 24 people, it seems, cause my uncle's not coming, but my cousin's bringing one friend. and, my boss says we can use her ovens at the cafe to cook the two 21 lb. turkeys, which will be soo much easier than having one in one oven, one in another, and havng to drivebetween two houses to get the turkeys.
i worked today... first weekend i've worked since i started at the cafe. which sucks, cause i only got one day off, but at the same time i made $65 in tips in 6 hours, which mostly rocks. of course, then i came home at noon, and slept from 1-4.30. so i mostly wasted my day. but it sure felt good to get that much sleep!
now, im wasting the rest of my day... since there's no-one at my house, i'm a little confused... they all dissappeared while i slept. oh well.
movie time? i think yes.
