This is the Around the World quilt we titled "Oh the Places You Will Go."  It was made for my librarian friend who is moving today. It was a collaboration between me and a friend.

My friend did the quilting. In the center block she quilted the word "Read"



This is the Tonga Rhapsody quilt I made for my parents



Here is an up close of the quilt. In the pictures it still looks a bit south western, but in real life the colors are more french provincial.


Here you can see the backing and a bit more of the border.  I still can't believe that when I started the quilt, I'd barely learned half square triangles.
