As I will be without easy access to Internet tomorrow, I thought it would be best if I posted the most recent part of the Alphabet Challenge
So without any further ado...
Title: N is for Night

Summary: In the middle of the night, Shou Tucker wonders...

Shou looks at his wife’s unconscious form. Her long hair is fanned out around her head, making her look almost angelic. There is a slight swell in her stomach, a sign of the life growing within her. Cautiously, as not to disturb her sleep, Shou places one of his hands on top of his wife’s belly and lets it remain there. In the stillness of the night, all is quiet, all is peaceful, all is as Shou hoped it would be. However, the days were filled with strife and anger. A slight frown crosses Shou’s face, he is working as hard as he can, but he has the sinking feeling that it is not enough. For the moment though, he just embraces the stillness of the night and the sounds of Mira’s breathing.
