[There's a shiver.]

Gods, why is it still so cold? It never seems to end.

And such strange noises after dark, so very chilling. I must say, so far this "world" seems a very odd place.

Is it always like this here? I certainly hope not.

[From this broadcast, it would seem she is safe - and that's a relief given recent events and his own run-in with one of the savage Noctaere. His right forearm has been dressed with bandages although it's difficult to tell when his arm is still, on account of his long, drooping sleeve.] In the time I have been here, this world has proven itself to be mutable and unpredictable. Hopefully this evil will vanish sooner rather than later.

[A thoughtful pause.] ...The cold, however, may be here to stay for longer.

I quite agree. Sooner would definitely be better than later.

A woman was being chased by one of those creatures in the city, last night. I was able to destroy it, but, it managed to catch me off guard. I was careless.

Careless or not, you managed to survive, which is admirable.

[Her voice is tart. "Heroes" with complexes don't wash, buster. The Princess is a practical woman, don't beat yourself up over stupid stuff.]

[Smart man. Perchance he might give a certain Prince lessons.]

Nevertheless, I am thankful you're safe. No one should be out and about in these infernal conditions. [She shudders and draws her blanket more tightly over her shoulders.]

While I prefer spring to winter, this season has its own melancholy beauty. But it is difficult to appreciate when what plants should have survived have withered and died within the last few weeks.

As well as the decidedly ominous feeling here.

[He falls silent again, contemplating the large mass of ice that had gathered at and near-engulfed the floating mountain, resisting his efforts and those of many others to destroy it. And then there was that behemoth that roared and thrashed about in the small hours of the morning...]

Mn. Until the feeling subsides, it would be best to stay indoors when it is possible. [He was doubtful that she would head out often given how cold it seemed to her, but... it was his roundabout way of saying, I would like you to stay safe.]

Oh, believe me. I have little intention of venturing outside. I am ill-suited to this miserable climate.

[He nods.] For your sake especially, I will hope spring arrives soon.
