Quick catchup since my last post about a year ago.
I'm 23 now, still working at Bank Of America, although have been promoted almost a year ago to the teller manager. Still dating Carl, the boy from my last posts. That's been about a year and a couple months. NO, WE'RE NOT GETTING MARRIED... yet.
This is probably the only place I can post about work and not have anyone from it read it/where SOMEONE might care. ha.
Why do I have to be the only competent one there? Honestly. I'm basically the only one who can function behind the counter without having a nervous breakdown, although I'm about to have one b/c of these people.
I'm tired of the only one coming in early/staying late to make it comfortable to work there. I've gotten 4 hours of overtime in the past 3 days, I know I'm the manager but I'm not the only one who works there, specially since I know some of my employees are money hungry.
Don't worry, you can go on disability b/c you have a "growth" down there, which isn't life threatening to YOU or your UNBORN fetus, and I'll just pick up the slack of yours and MY job. I can't even complete 1 of my tasks related to my specific job title b/c I'm stuck on the teller line b/c the tellers can't complete a simple transaction without freaking out/talking about nonbank stuff/or blaming their computer for them not understanding the transaction.
I work with IDIOTS.
sometimes they're great. but that usually lasts about a couple days, maybe even a week and then it's back to the same thing.
I love my job, I DON'T love the habitual avoiding the teller line [where your job is], stating it's your computers fault that it's taking too long, thinking you have more important things to do than your supervisor, closing your window every 5 minutes, not knowing how to read your work schedule... the list can go on for hours...
2 more days and I start my week of vacation. Sadly, it's my last week for the year, I know I'll be taking unpaid days off before the end of the year.
When I transfer to BofA down in the Sacramento area next year, I just hope that I land in a banking center that doesn't have idiotic coworkers who can't do their jobs.
AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
