News!: My aunt had twins a few days ago. They were due in April, so are in critical condition (in NICU). The little girl weighed 3.5 lbs when she was born and the boy 4 lbs. They've lost weight since then, as all newborns seem to do. My aunt took me to NICU to see them today, which was special because i'm one on a list of very few who are allowed back there... They had tubes all over the place and were in the incubator things... so tiny.... so very tiny... It was heartbreaking and joyful at the same time. I am so happy they are here, but so fearful for their lives. They are fighters, though, especially the girl. She has hands the size of my thumb, but she has a death grip... and loves to hold on! They are off respirators right now, but still have a long way to go. These precious babies need your prayers. Tiny miracles, gifts from God... Looking at them makes me realize how fragile life is... What an awesome fight they are putting up to be able to live it- and they will win.
