[Have a squirming, gleeful, and very very young Narvin.]

Look, look, look I got a game of Sepulchasm! [He points the video camera at a model of a mountainside on a pedestal. For about a quarter of a second. He's too excited to be patient enough to let anyone actually get a good look at it.]

I want to play! Does anyone else want to play?

[Well that quarter second glance sure looked interesting. BE CALM AND LOGICAL, T'POL, interest must remain vague.]

What is Spulchasm?

It's the best game ever invented. A test of the strength of a person's mind. I know all the rules. [Backwards and forwards. Some things never change.] I watch my cousins playing it, but they never let me play with them.

I can teach you, if you want to play.

I would like to learn.

[She thinks, anyway. But:] Why won't they let you participate?

They say I'm too young and my mind isn't developed enough. But really it's just because they don't like me, because they're in the Academy and they think I'm just a Time Tot and they don't want to be seen with me.

I'll bring it to the public room on the sixth level.

...A Time Tot? What precisely is that? [She thinks maybe the inflections insinuate emotion, and tells herself not to make them anymore. Or to at least make an effort to avoid it. Still, she nods.]

I know where that is. I will meet you there. What sort of game is it? Educational?

...You don't know what a Time Tot is? You must be from the south. [Southern Gallifrey is like the other side of the universe to little Narvin. Who knows how people do things *there*.] That's what we call someone who will go to the Academy but hasn't yet, or is still in the lower grades.

Sepulchasm helps teach psychic control. The pieces are specially sensitive to telepathic stim--stimulus. [The last word gives him a little bit of trouble, but he's fairly sure he remembered it quickly enough to not look like too much of a baby.]

[Humph - no wait, not humph, she has no emotion. Tiny T'Pol is lifting her tiny chin.] I am from Shi'Kahr, [she points out, kind of haughtily. Whoops. But he catches her interest, and makes her very, very uncertain.]

That sounds inappropriate.

No, it just means that we can move the pieces with our minds.

Where is Shi'Kahr?

Which is why it's inappropriate.

[Pause. Sigh.] On Vulcan.

It is not inappropriate. It's good practice for psychic control.

Vulcan? The human mining colony?

Encouraging invasive mental behaviors is inappropriate. [Why don't you understand this. :| And she is doing the Vulcan equivalent of sputtering.]

Certainly not. I'm not human.

((OOC: LOL I love it!))

It's not invasive. It's not like we're psychic wrestling.

Good. They eat animals. It's disgusting.

Psychic wrestling? [Oh God your people are starting to sound horrifying :c] It doesn't matter. Only the minority is capable of telepathy, and I will not indulge in anything so inappropriate.

...Yes. It is. [Wait, is that a pointed comment?
