[Spam for Kay]

[Nearly losing the TARDIS leaves Narvin rattled and angry. He paces in tight circles and snaps at a native to the city who tries to ask him the time. Being linked to a nervous TARDIS doesn't help his state of mind any. He mutters:]

She's all right. She's frightened. She's all right.

I'm fine. I panicked at first, but then there was this new guy...I guess he arrived right before the Barge was destroyed? Anyway, I was just talking to him and that distracted me from the worry that this might not get fixed.

Good, good. Well, not that you panicked, obviously.

We'll get this fixed. From what I hear, the Barge has been able to recover from extensive damage before.

Did everyone become the walking dead those times, too?

No, but it's no cause for alarm. It's likely just because the type of damage is somewhat different than before. [Narvin has his calm, public "the government has the situation under control" face on. Underneath it he's terrified.]

Well, the Admiral wants me to go jewelry shopping. But without currency. Whatever the dead use to pay for things, I don't appear to have any.

I'll see if I can barter some of my jewelry for it. Not my skull ring, obviously, but the rest of it, as long as you can request it back later...

Of course. Once the Admiral has set things to right, I'll ask him to replace anything you give up in pursuit of this ridiculous thing.

Let's price the necklace first, see how much collateral we'll need to acquire it and what our options are.
