I'm returning to my world for a while. I plan to come back if I can as soon as I can. If I'm lucky, hardly any time will pass here. If I'm unlucky... Well. [And he ends there because he's rubbish at these sorts of things. Too personal.]
[Warden Filter]
Ardent is permitted to work in the library again and have full access to whatever books he wishes.
Doctor Nazarova, he seems to trust you more than anyone else. I'd appreciate it if you could take care of him while I'm gone.
[Private to Ardent]
The new contract will have to wait I'm afraid. I have an opportunity to try to save my people so I have to try. I'm sure you understand. I'll return if I can but the world I'm going to is in the final death spasms of a temporal- and dimensional-warping war. I don't know if I'll survive or if the Barge can snatch me back if I don't.
[Awkward pause]
Anyway, you can return to work in the library if you wish. Full access to any of the books. And I've asked Doctor Nazarova to see to your needs if you require warden assistance.
[Time Lord filter]
I constructed a time ring. I'm going to try to save Gallifrey. [And that's all he says, because he's sure that they can infer all the rest.]
[Private to Braxiatel]
[This is Braxiatel, so he can hardly say something friendly and hearts-felt like "Take care of yourself" and certainly not anything as sentimental as "Good-bye, old friend" or anything like that. (If they're even friends, which they certainly *aren't*. So instead he says...]
Do me a favour and make some appropriately witty and biting comment at Rassilon on my behalf since I myself will be unable to do it while I'm away.
narvin loves his planet,
war is hell,
time lords = repression,
what is this friendship thing?
