Arrived in Elverum, Norway
I only like to post on here when something important happens, and it seems clear that the only important things that happen to me are moving from one part of the country/world to another. I left Anchorage Thursday at around noon and I got to Elverum last night around 2100. Ish. It took a car, 3 planes, 2 underground trains, 2 commuter trains, a bus, approximately 25 hours and a short walk to get here. Somewhere in there, due to time zone magic, I lost a day.
Right now, I'm thinking of a few more things I need for the apartment and then I'm going to start walking around and checking out the area. I will try to let people know what's going on here in a general sense. I also brought a camera, so I'll try to take pictures. I was expecting more mountains, but I guess that's the west side of the country, so I get the green fields and foothills.
