Ianto's Journey
Hello everyone! *Waves*
I hope everybody had a good Christmas and New Year!
So, I've not posted any fics since September(!) I know - I can't believe it's been that long! I have been busy with real life stuff and my muses haven't seemed to want to play, but they haven't been completely quiet. I have been working on my H/C_Bingo.
I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to complete it this year so I've been keeping quiet about it, but the wonderful badly_knitted helped me to come up with a way to join all my prompts into one story which I have just completed. So now, I'm sorry but I'm going to spam your inboxes over the next few hours with 25 chapters of my story so that I can claim my bingo over at the H/C community.
Here is a sneak preview of what I have in store for you:
Ianto Jones knew he was a lucky man.
His life was perfect, or as near to it as it was possible to get. He had a good job that he loved and that paid well. Ok he was still quite junior but at a company with plenty of opportunity for promotion and he was already being noticed by the senior management as someone who had the potential to really make his mark one day.
He had a great social life, never short of a friend to go down the pub with or to play squash with or to go to a film at the local arty cinema.
He had a lovely flat. Necessarily small due to the cost of living so close to his work in the centre of London, but it was neat and comfortable and plenty big enough really. After all there were only the two of them. Him and his girlfriend.
Lisa was undoubtedly the best thing about his perfect life. He had met her in his first week at his new job and instantly knew that he just had to get to know her better. She was stunningly beautiful, clever, kind, funny and for some reason that Ianto never had been able to fathom, she seemed to like him too.
So he had asked her out and the rest, as they say, was history.
Ten months later they bought their flat.
Five months after that everything went to hell.
