Yeah poor Owen. He couldn't take anymore and decided to make himself scarce.
Ianto enjoyed the distraction but is still grossed out by the maggots!

Eeew, I'm with Ianto on this one - maggots are not cute!
I can just about cope with seeing them in an apple - but feeling them wriggling around inside my own flesh... Yuck!

Ewwww! I'm with Ianto, that is creepy as hell. You know it must be if even our favorite stoic Welshman can barely handle the idea!

Jack had quite the ingenious solution to help the "medicine go down", as it were. I'd take that over a spoonful of sugar any day!

LOL at Owen at the end. Probably wise to get out while the getting's good! Clothes might be coming off next... :-p

Yup it is gross!
Lucky Jack is good at distracting Ianto.
Although Owen didn't enjoy the distraction! He really doesn't want to see or know what is going to happen next.

I gotta go with Ianto with this; Jack is mighty distracting but not that distracting.

I recently had a horrendous experience in my apartment; something died in the ceiling and the next thing my son and I realized were maggots swarming in the ceiling light fixture. When they actually started FALLING from the ceiling, that was enough for us (and he's ex-Army!). Now, HPD is coming in to clear out that area :(

Maggots and loving-partner-distraction, as much as I like Jack, ain't making it for me... :O

But a very interesting way to use them in a story!

I hope you have got it all sorted out now.

Jack is very distracting, but I'm with you on that one - I don't think even Jack would be enough distraction for me. Luckily Ianto isn't quite as squeamish as I am.
