Disrespect.

I would like to start off by saying Happy official Halloween everyone! Now I will go on to talk about the disrespect I am experiencing right now. I, as a roommate, I feel as though I am very respectful. I clean up after myself and my dog. I help out my roomies as they need it. I even go as far to pick up after them A LOT of the time. Now mostly I keep to myself and keep to my room, but when I venture to the living room or anywhere else in the house I make sure to clean up after my guests and I. But apparently on this particular night both of my roomies decide I do not need sleep. I have been sick with the flu for about a week now and I am struggling with this mostly because it is Halloween week and I am used to going out everyday BUT since I have been sick I haven't been going out and tonight I did for a while but was home around 12:30. Ready for bed soon after. I have an full eight hour day of class tomorrow. They know this and at 2:30 am I awake to hear the tv on which sounds like full blast, people walking up and down the stairs, slamming doors, and obviously drunk. So I get up hoping people are getting their things and leaving, and run to the bathroom. There I run into a girl in an asian costume, who seemed to have been quite heavy on the sauce, apologizing like crazy that she was in the bathroom when I was trying to go. That was fine. When it took a wrong turn is when I realized they weren't leaving they were just starting their little shindig. It would probably help the story if you knew my room was directly over top of the living room. Meanwhile my one roommate has been staying with her d-bag boyfriend and ignoring all of us, and the other has been fine nearly the whole length of our stay here. Now the roommate who never stays here and acts as though we owe her something, has all of these rude people over. I quietly walk down the stairs and see her, so I ask her to please turn the tv down because I was trying to sleep. She proceeds to look at me as though I have asked them all to pour battery acid on themselves and says, "It's not the tv they are talking." ... Take a moment and let all that sink in... Yes, that really did just happen. I stand there for a moment, and wait to see if she asks them to take it down a couple levels.No. All she does is look at me like there is something wrong with me. I respond with , "Awesome!" and walk back upstairs and slam my door. Then text my other roomie that I did not know was downstairs to ask her where she is, because last I knew she was sleeping in her room as well. To my great surprise she was also downstairs with them. And when I said I was upset all she said was "Too loud?" I lay there in bed literally shaking I was so frustrated and felt so disrespected by two people I feel I give mounds of respect to. It's times like these I want to pack up and leave over night. I so wish I had my own place again. This year is going to be much harder than I thought. I hope these nights don't happen too often once I get my serious job soon...
