Summary: Selphie goes to pick up Matron.

After the text she found from Matron, Selphie had taken the pouch of money provided to her by the Chocobo egg at her arrival and bought a ticket for herself on a small ship headed to Costa de Sol; after the disasterous attempt to sneak on a boat with Zell, she knew better than to try and pull the same stunt twice!
Standing on the deck of the boat, Selphie crossed her arms on the railing, laying her head down. Matron was here! And though she was more than happy and relieved that her forgotten mother figure was safe, there was something in the texts they had exchanged which sparked a worry within.
She didn't know who Rinoa was... and it was a troubling thought. Knowing that they all could come from any point in their lives, it could be very well that the Matron she spoke to wasn't one from after the defeat of Ultimecia. If she was, surely she would've remembered the raven haired girl! They were both at the party that Selphie and the gang had attended before she was transported here, and Matron had even conversed with Rinoa about Squall's change in behavior...
But Edea remembered both Zell and herself, so maybe all hope wasn't lost! Maybe, by some slim chance, Edea had been sent to the world before Ultimecia had a chance to take over her mind and possess her completely. The thought lifted Selphie's spirits somewhat, but she had to remind herself that these were only assumptions, and she shouldn't get her hopes up.
Selphie was abruptly snapped out of her train of thought though as the Captain announced the ship's arrival to the Costa shore. Lifting her head from her arms immediately, Selphie moved quickly to beat the rush to the boat ramp, though the presence of her nunchakus surely helped scare some people off from getting in her way. Skipping hurridly down and out to the docks below, Selphie paused, looking both left and right for any sort of signal that may guide her to Matron.
