Protagonists:

Nanaki: The sole survivor of AVALANCHE still alive, and the guardian of Cosmo Canyon. He has grown old and wise in the long centuries of living, and he is one of the only remaining individuals to be able to recall the history of the Meteor Crisis and beyond. He has grown and calmed into a strong advisor and a willful advocate of the planet, and he has given up much of the dislike for the human race in his time as leader of Cosmo Canyon after his grandfather passed on.

Nanaki has been a dedicated father to his children, and he spends much of his time in and around Cosmo Canyon. He keeps specific track of the ebbs and flows of the Lifestream, and he works diligently to teach the ways of his people down the generations of New-Cetra, humans, and his children. He became the first on the planet's surface to notice the change in the Lifestream as well as the falling stars upon the planet, and he seeks to find a reason to this disturbance.

Sephiroth: It has been 498 years since Sephiroth last made his attack on the planet and its people. Cloud's defeat over the once General had Sephiroth's soul thrown back down into the Lifestream where it was held prisoner by the collective minds of the planet. His burning hatred faded over time. First into anger, then eventually into acceptance as those responsible for his nightmares all perished along with what they'd once stood for. While he was unsatisfied that their eventual destruction hadn't been directly by his hand, the once-General found a small level of acceptance in the mere fact that Shin-Ra and all remnants of AVALANCHE were no more.

His soul went into a form of hibernation after these events, and while he kept part of his mind focused on the events transpiring on the surface, the majority of his attention remained in deep inner-thought. He reflected on his past actions, finding the grudging acceptance over the events, but he still felt the desire deep within to leave this planet and all the memories behind.

The planet, however, woke the ex-General from his meditated slumber as a new threat appeared. A threat that the current inhabitants of the planet were powerless against. With no other option, the planet struck up a deal with the once General, and in return for eventually giving Sephiroth enough energy to leave the planet, he had to return to the surface in order to defeat and rid the planet of her new enemy. With the prospect of being given the chance to leave the planet, and everything else, behind, Sephiroth agreed to the planet's terms and was returned back to the planet's surface to fight.

Materialising in Mideel, the Cetra inhabitants nursed the mako-poisoned General back to health before Sephiroth took up his sword and began seeking his prey.

Antagonists:

Aetas: Shackled by the memories tormenting his mind, Aetas original body perished thousands of years ago. His bitterness and hatred towards the human race over his death caused Aetas' soul to be reborn as a fayth. The only remaining fayth's from Yu Yevon's time, Aetas used his unique spells to hurl his spirit through time and space to the distant future.

He is controlled by his own will, not a summoner. His powers lend him strength enough to find a way to seek an exit to time itself, but at what cost to time and everyone living in it?

Stands at: 6'1"

Weighs at: 210lbs

Malice: She is one of two sentient WEAPONs created by Aetas' power. Malice lives up to her very name as she thrives in delivering divine judgement onto those who oppose her master, Aetas. Created in the form of Death, Malice wields her scythe as if it was an extension of her own body. She is cool, calm and collect in battle, and her expression never showing much more than a subtle smirk as she faces off against her opponents.

Stands at: 5'8"

Weighs at: 160lbs

Vanity: The second sentient WEAPON created, Vanity is the polar opposite to Malice. While she follows every command of her master, Aetas, Vanity will not hesitate to play around with her prey either. There is often a playful air surrounding this particular WEAPON as she battles. Using a spiked chain whip, she is not above laughing and tormenting her opponent to whip them into shape.

Stands at: 5'6"

Weighs at: 130lbs

WEAPON A: Created to serve Vanity, this WEAPON has no mind of its own and acts only on its master's order. While it has no weapon in a sense of swords and scythes, this WEAPON is fully equipped. This two faced WEAPON has the long digits protruding from each hand are razor sharp blade-like nails. These nails are the main instrument used by this WEAPON. It also has a bulbous bone protrusion formed at the end of his tail. If a fighter is unlucky enough to get hit by the bulb on the WEAPON's tail, it would end in a result similar to a bowling ball falling on a watermelon on the opponent's bones. The final weapon this creature has, are the bony claws emerging from its back. While these large claws are often used for climbing purposes, they can also be used to pin and hold the WEAPON's opponents in place while it bombards its victim with its tail and sharp claws.

Stands at: 7'9"

Weighs at: 350lbs

WEAPON B: This WEAPON was created to serve Malice. What this particular creature lacks in 'added-features' it makes up in pure strength and speed. Wielding a sickle in one hand, and an oversized hatchet in the other, this WEAPON is a force to be reckoned with. Should its opponent be (un)lucky enough to make this WEAPON lose its blades, then the creature will not hesitate in going down on all fours and charging at its opponent with the purpose of gorging them with the large sturdy horns on its head.

Stands at: 8'00"

Weighs at: 370lbs
