Something is completely screwy with the last week or so. I can't seem to figure out where it's all coming from. Sleeping alone sucks sometimes.....especially when you really don't want to. Why must it all be so complicated? I just wanted to see you..... Why must it all be so complicated?

There's not much time before the clock stops ticking
and we lay our heads to rest,
to dream of a similar place contrasting in
in color
yours a bright blue
and mine a dark green.
however, it may come as no suprise
why the stars stay the same
in both worlds
they're aligned to be right
but that's not enough to
make it happen.
an idea, an imaginary romance.....
so take the map that leads to you desire
it will help you escape when
they raid this town for all it worth
and burn it to the ground
with a fit of rage
cleaning out the homes
and destroying everything.
take the gold and start a new life
with more than you can handle
because the wind blows hard on
this slowly burning candle
the representation of the time
we've spent pondering our reasons
for being where we are.

I don't know why it's so hard to find romance....
