the peace corps... any day now
Peace Corps email updates are seriously THE most confusing things ever. I received another cryptic email from the 3rd random person in the past 2 months but I think this one is finally here to stay.
He's my placement officer. Which means I am so close.
Apparently he also called Laura today, I'm guessing to check on my references?
The email he sent is the most cryptic of all. He said I was qualified for placement.
I thought I was already qualified for placement.
UGH.
But apparently he's just checking with the country about my medical issue which isn't even an issue but the PC doesn't want me to die because of some kind of banana induced seizure. So I guess I understand.
He said it should only take 1-4 weeks and that as soon as he gets clearance I find out.
Which means... it could be seriously any day now.
YAY!
In other news, I have been shitty with this thing lately because there isn't much to update. Pretty soon I'll be creating a PC blog which will be public for all to follow my travels in Africa and wherever they end up sending me.
The only thing you really need to know right now is that I work a few days a week, work out often, ride my bike, hang with friends, and am in the process of planning as many random summer trips as possible which include Boston, Chicago, Elon and possibly Florida. I just got back from a fun weekend in Baltimore visiting my friend Dorothy for the 4th.
Life is good and so far so good with clearance!
