this is the first poem ive written in several months.

Hey, wake up, hey
It shall rain blood today
And the dead man in the cell down the hall
He just laughs

Hey, what do you hear, hey
It’s the song of dawning gray
And the faceless child in the alley
She just laughs

Hey, did you see that, hey
Angels littering the bay
And God, pulling strings down in heaven
He just laughs
