surfing is a bitch....
HOLY SHIT FUCK MONKEY BRAINS, MUTHER FUCKERS!! IT'S FUCKING SUMMER VACATION!! *pant pant* ok, now that i've got that off my chest (chest, not boobs, there IS a difference). today i went surfing for only the second time in my life (i know, kinda sad since i've lived in Santa Cruz my entire life) and it was rather evil to me. what was evil to me, you ask? why, it was everything!! every factor of surfing was being a bitch to me today. it was kind of a rough day, so the waves were too big for a beginner like me. once we got out beyond the breaking waves, we had to constantly paddle to keep in the place we wanted to be because the wind was pushing us non-stop. i kept tipping off my board because i am a HUGE clutz (you have no idea the torture i put myself through) so now both my knees are bruised from wrestling myself back onto the board a million times. my arms are already starting to hurt from paddling against the wind and waves; it will be hell tomorrow! i fell off my board once when i was trying to get onto my knees to paddle, and i hit my head really hard on it when i came back up. there is a huge lump there now, it has given me a ginormous headache, and it was HELL trying to wash and comb my hair. on top of it all, i am sooooo tired!! it has totally thrown me off my summer "stay up 'till 3am, wake up at 12pm" schedule. AND i have to fucking work tomorrow! grrrr....
but i can't wait to go out again on thursday!
