Is it April already?
Sorry to only lurk for the past week and not write anything. I'd like to say I've been busy, but that would be a lie. Yeah. Busy in the way of I can't be bothered to have a coherent thought, or get up off my ass to clean the bathroom. Whatever.
I was deliriously happy to watch Stargate on Friday. I even postponed my weekly call with my writing partner to Saturday so I wouldn't have to be interrupted. I enjoyed my long lost sci-fi Friday complete with pizza and beer. I loved both episodes, but especially Atlantis. I won't bother with any commentary since most of the universe has already seen it. But, I'm sometimes the old fashioned type who likes surprises and rejects such things as knowing the gender of the baby before it's born.
I'm going to have dinner (and beer) at the West End Tavern with a friend tonight, and hope they still have the yummy fries (or chips, depending upon where you're from) Speaking of Brits, I got a long newsletter type email from a friend who moved to London for work about a year ago. It was an incredibly funny diatribe on British vs. American English. Priceless. Also, I watched an episode on BBCA of the new Robin Hood. I can't say I'm all that impressed with it so far, but then again, I was a huge fan of the 80's UK version with Michael Praed and it's pretty hard to top.
I need to get serious about the next screeplay rewrite, because there's a contest I want to enter and the deadline is June 1. Now if only I could must up some self discipline and coherent thoughts.
