I love that you revisited this 'verse; Forty-Three Days is on of my favs. And I love that with this, the emotion behind that horrible scene is real. Gorgeous job.

Ach, this was terrific. 'Forty three Days' is one of my all time favourites, and this works so beautifully in that context. You did a terrific job of teasing out what it would have been like for a traumatised person to act through a rendition of their trauma. It's a horrible thing to contemplate, and it makes perfect sense to explore it given your story and the J2 'reality'.

And the sex was - um, rather hot? As in, very. For some reason, this simple little scene worked really, really well for me.

I read the fic last night. \o/
It's hard for them for couldn't tell anybody about the hellhounds thing. I love Jared in the story. Forty Years do sound like forty three days to him and Jensen. That's terrifying for both of them.

Oh bb! So wonderful. I love how it becomes all about Jared trying to thread through not only Dean's emotions so he can be Sammy, but also Jensen's so he can be his rock. And then when he goes to him in the trailer, it's still emotional, but it flows away easily as they realize what the situation really is, that Jensen's safe and he'll be okay. The sex of course was nice!! And I particularly like that it was Jensen starting it, not like Jared thought he had to do it to make it easier, ya know?
