LANDMARK: the one year post has been passed...

In case anyone was wondering what happened on the momentious one year anniversary occassion...it was great! Rachel let us use her car and we went to San Francisco. I hate driving there. We went to the MOMA, which was really super cool, and totally worth it even though the Chagall exhibition was PACKED; I'm so glad I got to see it. Then we went to find this Japanese retaraunt, but when we got there it wasn't there anymore. So we ate Thai food; it was all right. So, then we came back to Davis to do presents! In his room was a big box that I opened and continued to pull newspaper out of until I realized that there was nothing in this box. But there was: a small piece of paper w/ a guitar pick taped to it w/a clue on it that led me to the bookcase where I found another note taped to a guitar strap, which led me to under the printer where I found another note taped to a binder titled: Melody's Worship Book and Song Book, which led me to the closet, wherein lay my NEW GUITAR! So, I was happy, shocked, worried because my gift could not compare, and then mad because he gave me something else to distract me from my homework. Ha. So, to my room where I had set up a really cool room of memories and cards and decorated the walls w/cards and pictures of us and lots of vases of white roses and lots of candles that Rachel lit for me when i called her to give her the signal. So, he really really liked it (there were tears). Yay! Now the madness is over, I can concentrate on schoolwork (ha ha).

So, life is good. La Fe is going really really well. We may have Casistas (people from Casa) going to Fall Conference! Yay, I'm so glad I took the chance to do this. I did quit my job to have enough time for school, roommates, La Fe, and a boyfriend; but that's o.k. Sometimes you just have to give up and trust, and it's good.
