Zebrahead madness
Zebrahead was amazing...holy shit! I can't believe how good they are. Their stage presence was incredible, the crowd was going crazy. I think it's safe to say that it was the best concert in St. George...ever. Even better than my favories, Rx Bandits & Saosin...combined. If you missed this show, shame on you.
Seriously, the pit was mad. I'm still sore from all the abuse that took place. Damn football players, I say. But it was the most fun i've had in a while!
Alright, here's what happened at the show:
I leave my house around 7:00...taking my sisters to their friends houses. That consumed about 40 minutes...and I finally get to the Electric Theater at 7:50 PM. Man, that line was long...stretching clear past the other buildings. I found my friend Nick Nisson and hung out with him. We get in around 8:00-8:15 PM. First up, FloraTech Road played...I thought they were pretty good (being as the lead singer got Zebrahead here). Next, Falstaff played...I wasn't feeling the music enough...blah. Everyone was chanting Zebrahead to them...I didn't participate because it was rude to the band. I can only image what it's like to open for such a huge band and not getting any support as the opener.
Finally, Zebrahead entered the theater and blew everyone away. I forget what song they played first, but they did play my favorites "Rescue Me", "Get Back", "Wasted", & "Playmate Of The Year". I was sad they didn't play "Now Or Never", that song just kicks my ass. I was front and center the whole time, fighting for my place. Oh man, was that the best time. They even played a cover of a song off of Jay & Silent Bob...but instead of using 'fuck' they used 'fork' (poking fun of the request to not swear by the owner of the electric). What a memorable night...even more than Saosin, before this...it was my favorite performance here.
I was going to go to Extreme Thing in Vegas, but Kristin didn't get tickets in time :(. Oh well...she's getting me Warped Tour tickets :D. Thanks, Kristin...you kick so much ass.
Zebrahead show: 6/5 Stars...mother fucking awesome.
