Well. That was certainly disappointing. After looking forward all day to visiting and walking Chester, I drove up to Kyle's house only to see his neighbor just returning with from a nice walk with him. Not only that, she gave me a dirty look as I drove by as well. Man. That sucked. After I turned around and drove off it occured to me that the smart thing to do would have been to pull up and introduce myself to her and tell her what the deal was, but no. I can't think when I'm pissed. I really should have though, that would have cut down on the chances of me going back and freaking her out if she happened to look next door and see a random car and their garage door open. And maybe I could have found out when the best time for me to come back would be. Goddammit, I'm an idiot.
Oh well.
I am in quite a bit of pain and have been all day. This will continue for the next couple of days. This is uncomfortable.
Despite how lousy the day seems to have been, it still definitely had some good points- the best being recieving a call from Kyle ('twas magnificent!) and waking up to my mom bringing me coffee and a Chick-Fil-A chicken biscuit in bed. Hot damn, that was way sweet...I suppose she must love me if she'll do a thing like that.
Today I have the last day of soccer camp. Yes, this is good. Three straight hours of my dad coaching is a little too much to handle, especially every day for a week. Other than that I'm not doing anything besides watching the Royal Tenenbaums for the second time today but with the Wes Anderson commentary on.
What a night I'll have!
