FADING MEMORIES
It's so sad that we never had,
Enough time to hit rewind,
And Relive the memories,
Before they all fade away,
To remember the times we
Spent together, the parties,
Lunchtime conversations,
Friends you fought with,
People you dated,
People you hated,
Put it all behind you,
And let something remind you,
Of the times when you were wacky,
You were cranky and your
Friends cheered you up,
Those days after the nights of
Cramming and sleeplessness,
That you were delirious,
And laughed at everything.
Just take a moment to look,
Back in your yearbook,
And remember while you still can,
Before the memories fade away,
And get lost forever.
UNTITLED
As we go our separate ways,
Each hopes that they aren't,
Forgotten but instead remembered,
For something that they did,
Not for being the most popular,
Or most attractive, most annoying,
Being the outcast, or finishing last,
We all hope that after going our separate ways,
That we all will meet again,
Some other day down the road,
And can catch up with each other,
You try to keep in touch with everyone,
But its just not the same,
As seeing their faces everyday.
