Quiet house.
The wife's family left on wednesday morning. They had been here for roughly a month and a half. It is nice to have the house back to ourselves. It is odd though. They had been here so long that I was getting used to them and all the racket that accompanies them.
The renaissance festival started last weekend. Yeah! Plus, I am selling my fairies at the festival. Have 26 there at the moment. But, alas, have sold none yet, except for one which I sold to a friend who saw the fairy during the week. I also made a fairy this week on commission. So, two sales this week, but none to the public at faire. Ah, well.
So happy to see old friendly faces at faire that I have not seen since last year. I got a new belt for my Ottoman costume. It is a 5 inch wide belt with round suds making diamond patterns and 5 large rings hanging from it equally spaced. The rings are there to hang my stuff from, but the bondage jokes ensue anyway. Many ladies threaten to make use of those rings. Poor me.
I'm keeping constantly busy between: work, festival, fairy making, costume making and etc. I can't really complain, I'm just tired.
