Alice.

I watched Jan Švankmajer's Alice this afternoon. It's pretty good. The pace's rather slow but if you like surrealist's works you'll prolly like this too. Some images are very haunting too. But if i'm not wrong there are visual puns, like socks in the holes, keys in the sardine.

This is one of my fave scenes! The girl is so pretty! But ya, she's older than me now. My xbox couldn't play the first scene, this is the first scene that i got to see the 'girl face'. I like how the film goes. When Alice shrinks, she's a doll. When Alice reverts to her original size, she's a human face.

I finished this poetry book too. It has works of the finalists of the Griffin Poetry Prize. Awesome stuff.

Second poem for Theodore
Just pretend my writing is somebody else's.
What things are important to you?
I am deeply concerned about your opinion of me.
To you i want to appear pleasant.
& then invisible.
I want to be an interesting story
none of you really remembers
Just a kind of nervous thing you have, really.
& then nothing.
Nothing.
Almost an eternity of nothing
& then a terrible cataclysm
