The Black Sun.
AQ is now open, in a fantastic display of a 10 hour real time war. [Most of which I missed due to work, but caught a few hours when I came home.] Involving massive elites all over the continent, and Silithus being a warzone of legendary proportions. We literally had to team with alliance and zerg train these mobs they hurt so much it was completely untankable.
However, we had loads of NPC elite troops to help out, along with heros and crazy magic abilities.
Eventually, around 5am in the morning the waves stopped coming to Cenarian Hold, the local town, and began spawning at the gates. The heros, NPC elites, and droves of alliance and horde marched to the gates of AQ and smashed the remaining forces.

Also, a special Nefarian picture, which burned our guild for a week.
