The melodious fanfare of trumpets and drums must have seemed foreign for the two wayfarers but for one, such music spoke of the divine union of two great kingdoms. White petals fluttered down from the rooftops above, tossed into the air by the voyeur who littered balconies of royal Rabanstre. Dozens of flower petals danced gracefully within the warm summer winds, each one performing their silent ballet of twirls and leaps before tumbling down to the crowded below.
The people were covered in white, almost as if snow had fallen upon their shoulders as they screamed and cried in mirth and pride once the royal couple made their way down the main street. Various people lined these crowded streets, many of them the very citizens who worshipped Dalmasca’s beauty. The tall-eared Vieras stood proudly amongst common men, their smiles a rare sight to behold for any hume. The lizard-like bangaas rejoiced as well with their pig-nosed brethren, the seeqs by sharing glasses of ale with all. The unity felt here today amongst all of Rabanstre’s citizens would act as a testament to the loyalty these people felt for both their king and their homeland.
As the celebration continued throughout the royal city, the bewildered gaze of Marquis Halim Ondore IV settled upon the scene before him with a look of pure confusion. "What is this?" He muttered to himself not knowing he wasn't alone within this dream.
