Fatal Convulsions
Characters: Dr. Cidolfus Demen Bunansa & OPEN (To the Seven Battlers)

Summary: A clash between Science & Might unlike the world has ever seen, will this be the end of the road of the ingenious Dr. Cid?
Location: The Governor's Estate(Courtyard), Wutai
Date: January, 1804
Warnings: Fantasy violence, PG-13
Hurrying down the halls with a squad of Wutai's finest guards, the doctor rushed into his mock laboratory with a nervous scowl upon his unshaven face. Hearing about an unnamed airship soaring through the night skies of Wutai, Cidolfus hurried to act. He was certain that vessel contained the very stalwart fools that his dear Ffamran warned him about. While he was uncertain about whether or not his son spoke the truth, it would seem that the rogue did since this merry band of misfits was now making their way towards manor. Fearful that Vayne would catch wind of his escapades soon, the doctor was glad that he had completed with his newly made Rooks with haste. He was confident that the Knights of the Round would defeat these unknown foes, confident that his knack for weaponry will keep the Grim Reaper from knocking on his door.
"Go, fetch the beast!" Cid yelled at the guards once as they hurried down another corridor. The doctor has been doing his best to redecorate areas of the mansion to resemble the famous Draklor, including installing a secret passageway that lead to his quarters below. With the armed guards rushing into the room to cart the caged animal away, Cid walked towards the enormous vault nearby to fetch his tools. "Excalibur..." He affectionately said as he hoisted the gigantic rifle within his arms. The gun nearly dwarfed Cid in size but it wasn't as heavy as it seemed. While he won't be as nimble or agile in this battle because of Excalibur size and weight, the doctor hoped that the twelve smaller rooks would do their part to aid him in this daunting battle.
With the guards hurrying quickly to take away Red XIII, one of the captains hurried into the room to speak with the doctor. "Sir! It is absolutely imperative that you take leave from here now for your own safety."
Giving the guard a wry look, Cid couldn't help but laugh. "It is not my safety you should worry about..." Those young heroes have no idea what they got themselves into.
[ooc: Okay guys! It's battle time and the Mad Doctor is going to toss everything he got at you! Now, I am sure everyone is interested in know what the Knights of the Round are, so here is a link to some info here.
To further direct this log so it can go smoothly, I have decided that the battle will be *outside* the Governor's Estate, meaning that Cloud and his gang will be rummaging about outside in the courtyard before Cid emerges, that way everyone who is supposed to be in this log will get a chance to tag/intro their character here. In addition, the first person to TAG this log must title their first post as "The Courtyard" in their tag.
As for Red XIII, Cid and Red XIII will have a separate thread first before Red joins in with the battle as well. This will eventually be later of course, I'll work out the details with Gadgets.
