She hoped that the periodic chaos that engulfed Gaia would somehow spare her home, but it appeared that there was no escape this time. Luck, if they had it to begin with, had just run out. Whether through Lufene's or Garland's or another's doing, it was Figaro's turn to be trapped in the maelstrom.
As the swarm approached, and Terra got a better view of just what was coming, she snapped into action. Racing down the stairs, her first priority was to warn her friends. Whatever was coming, she would be at their side.

The Onion Knight was already as armed as he could get away with in the castle without the guards becoming annoyed. He'd been heading up the stairs, knowing that Terra spent a lot of time up on the roof and planning to meet up with her there. He'd not quite expected her to come racing back down the stairs. "Terra! What's wrong?"

She thought about just teleporting them outside, but figured that if they ran into any familiar faces along the way, that could only do them good.

The Onion Knight kept up easily desbite his shock, drawing his sword as he ran. If the guards had a problem with him having a weapon on his person now of all times then their priorities were sorely skewed.
"Is it Garland? Kuja? That woman?"

He looked around. "The barracks are lower down, right? We should let the guards know, they'll need to get anyone who can't fight to safety."

She lead the down to the barracks, where Celes' message could be heard over someone's open sky phone. There wasn't much room to move, as people were scrambling to armor themselves or filing in. Since they were already alerted, Terra hung back from actually entering, not wanting to be an obstacle. Instead, she glanced over to her friend. "Let's go find Celes! She'll need our help."

With the guards alerted, the knight ran ahead of Terra and made a dash for the castle's main doors. His eyes widened as he pushed them open and looked up at the shadows of the monsters above them.
"You were- You were right. They...certainly were approaching fast."

There was no time to waste. As they descended, Terra darted forward. "We can do this!" With little thought of her own safety, she launched a stream of fire at the nearest creatures.

He leapt up, placing a foot on the wall of the castle and using that to leap higher into the air, and spun in the air, sending comets flying at the monsters above.
