Summary: Kain finally returns to be around people for what will be a (very) short time.
Location: Troia
Date: Before the event... so today still counts!

Kain and Zephyr soared through the air, the destination of Troia looming closer by the moment. He knew he'd put this off long enough. He'd been to visit Reis for a while, and then back to some solitude and intense training... but now he had to face his best friend, although still reluctant to do so. Even though the other wouldn't remember what had occurred last summer, Kain still remembered it all too clearly. The guilt probably would never entirely disappear. But he had to deal with this sometime.
Easing Zephyr along, Kain brought her in to swoop down toward one of the castle's rooftops. There was instantly commotion at their appearance. While many had grown accustomed to Zephyr when Kain had last been staying here, she'd grown more even within the past month. So it was no wonder that Kain caused a stir as he and his storm dragon came in for a landing.
