Squall still wasn't particularly sure why he'd ended up here and not anywhere else, but all things considered he supposed it wasn't that bad. Yes, it was a brand new world, and yes he had far more people than he'd ever expected who he knew - and was expected to know in return? - but at least there were some familiarities here. The Garden. His friends, both old and new. And some of his enemies, but no world was without its problems. He could deal with it. He'd have to.
It wasn't like it was anything new. Just another part of the story.
For now though, there wasn't a whole he could do apart from wait amongst the (slightly thinning) crowd of moogles. He had no idea how long it would take them to get to where he was, or even where they might have been coming from.
But at least the moogles weren't actually bad company.
