That little escapade in Lindblum hadn't gone down well with either Cloud or Tifa. That was why Denzel and Marlene were currently grounded. Shelke hadn't returned to Luca, however. She'd stayed in Garden to take the SeeD test, which Tifa wasn't happy about, but she didn't want to force Shelke to come back with them.
All in all, Tifa was wishing that they'd never met Eiko right now. Then none of this would have happened... She shook her head. Now she was blaming a little girl for their problems. She needed some fresh air.
Shelke's kitten, Ruby, was scratching at the kitchen door, wanting to be let out. Scooping her up, Tifa opened the door and stepped into the garden. The cool sea breeze on her skin always refreshed her. She made her way over to sit on a chair on the patio, the kitten on her lap.
"At least you're easy to take care of, huh," Tifa murmured. She scratched Ruby's head and the kitten purred. "Do you miss Shelke too?"
