Vossler was going stir-crazy. Having been ordered to remain on bed rest, the former captain of Dalmasca's knights spent the majority of his time attempting to find out more of his new surroundings when not having to be escorted back to his room--something that occurred on more than one separate occasion. Why these healers refused to release him from their care was frustrating enough without having to deal with the fact that in his weakened state (and without access to his sword and armor), he was unable to liberate himself. His only saving grace was the Marquis, who had offered to come and have Vossler released into his care. Ondore's arrival couldn't come soon enough as far as Vossler was concerned.
