Firion stood just outside the door, waiting for Marlene to get her shoes on. His weapons were all in his room, though he kept his daggers at least in their usual place at his calves. It was a nice day and after the dragons had left, bringing death and destruction, Firion felt that this would be a good time to cheer Marlene up with his promise to show her around the city. Zack's death hit everyone hard, even Firion had felt his heart clench upon the sight of Zack's body, unmoving.
He looked back inside, smiling softly at the girl. "All set?"
