Leading the Knights of Pluto was none other than Captain Aldebert Steiner, a face that Kuja recognized and upon doing so scowled. Part of him seethed to see the likes of his enemy on the field, but another took delight knowing that the possibility of ending him was great. They had been all talk and witty banter over Mooglenet, why not take their words and turn them into actions?
The dragon he mounted landing on command, he steps off of it as gracefully as one can do in the midst of a battlefield, waiting by the side of the creature until the Captain is locked in his gaze. Raising a hand to point at him, calling to his attention and his attention only, the sorcerer only allows a brief moment between them to slide by with nothing more than gazes exchanged before summoning a herd of dragons to the defense, concentration of magic in the form of orbs rotating around him shortly after, ready for battle.

"KUJA!" he shouted, enraged. He glanced around for support, but there wasn't any; all the soldiers had either fallen or were embroiled in battles too far away. The hopelessness of the situation didn't deter Steiner. If Kuja was the source of this attack, perhaps defeating him would also stop the dragons.
It was the work of a moment to use his last X-Potion, then Steiner charged once more, fighting his way wildly through the dragons which defended Kuja. He felled one, two, three before his strikes began to waver. Battered and bruised, Steiner was slowing down, but he wasn't done yet.
"Kuja!" he yelled again. "Come and fight, you miserable coward!"

Steiner was close to passing out now, and had only one coherent thought left in his mind: attack Kuja. He struck blindly, wildly, with the last of his strength.

Unseeing eyes stared up at the dragon-filled sky from beneath his battered helmet. Steiner's body lay still, defeated at last.
