"Something wrong with the car?" Cally said, having been out for a walk.

"Nope," Jack said as the worked from beneath the truck. "Just a bit of preventative maintenance."

"Oh, good," Cally said. "Maintenance is always good."

"Would hate to lose a tire on the highway," Jack agreed. "How are you doing today, Cally?"

"Doing pretty good," Cally said. "May have accidentally committed myself to a threesome."

"I wasn't exactly expecting the answers to be positive," Cally said.

Jack gave Cally a slow, thorough once over and then matched her up with his mental image of Piper, added in another young lady, since had yet to meet Cally's girlfriend and then proceeded to go to the universal male happy place.

"I'm still not sure it's going to happen," Cally said. "I'm not sure if this is a good or bad thing."

"You probably, really don't want my opinion on that," Jack said a bit ruefully ducking back under the truck. "Pass me the wrench?"

"What kind?" Cally said, surveying Jack's tools.

[time_watcher]

"The torque wrench," he specified. Then remembered his manners. "Please?"

[victimofcylons]

"You don't have to say please," Cally said, handing them the wrench he asked for. "I'm used to taking orders."

Jack chuckled and she could probably hear him at work with the wrench.

"I could have way too much fun with a statement like that."
