I have returned to lusting over older men (thank you oldermenitis). They've been popping up in the media recently, and it couldn't make me happier.
Without further ado, I present to you
First off, we have Ed Helms. Now he is only thirty-four, but that is exactly twice my age so...it qualifies.
I love him as Andy on The Office but I never really found him attractive, just freaking hilarious.
However, I watched him on Late Night with Conan O'Brien the other night and he was absolutely adorable.
Funny, witty, down-to-earth, an all around nice guy. I have the hugest crush on him now.
Just watch him imitate Elton John. Some serious piano and singing skills going on there. So freaking talented.
I love his laugh/smile. Adorable teeth. AH FUCK EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM IS ADORABLE.
I also found this cute
article about him, where he helps out a fainting lady and is just altogether freaking awesome! Definitely not a Redddet-det-det-douchebag. Hahahaa.
Hahahahah, oh Ed.
Now, Gary Oldman (just a tad bit older *coughfiftycough*).
Just as with Ed Helms, I discovered Gary's adorableness on Late Night. I've known of Gary's awesome acting skills for years now (ever since Fifth Element and Leon) and of course his role as Sirius in Harry Potter.
But not until I saw him on Late Night did I go "Oh, well hello." Because, holy crap he is adorably sexy. Intelligent, funny and English, what more could you ask for.
Fwoargh, hello arms.
I can not wait for Dark Knight, it will be so fucking epic (omgireallymissheath).
Last but oh so fucking not least, is Jamesy Boy (only twenty-nine! That's a first. It's usually thirty or older when it comes to ~older men~ for me.
Vests, I can not resist them.
Oh, James McAvoy, you don't know what you do to me.
Saw him in Wanted, and of course, I died from the intensity that is McAvoy. His American accent is very sexy, I don't know how he pulls it off so well.
But his Scottish accent is above everything. Have you heard him speak? He is very, very charming.
Goddamnit with these vests!
I watched Penelope last night and I was sold by the first scene he was in (also:
kiss scene anyone!? holy shit intense. will-need-cold-shower alert). That movie is definitely a favourite of mine now. James is wonderful as his character, very dark and troubled. Most of his characters are actually, heh.
He's quirky and it's cute. Things just work out.
Also, he has brains and enjoys books. Uhm yeah, I can has now?
Fwoargh, that was long and intense.
